All conference sessions will take place at the Westdrift Manhattan Beach Hotel. The hotel address is 1400 Parkview Avenue, Manhattan Beach, California 90266.
Manhattan Beach has a scenic beach, a small commercial district, a charming pier, and many excellent dining options, from casual spots to gastropubs to more formal restaurants. It features warm weather and lovely sunsets throughout the year. Beach-related rentals such as bikes and surfboards are readily available.

Toutes les sessions du Colloque NCFS 2018 auront lieu dans le Westdrift Manhattan Beach Hotel situé au 1400 Parkview Avenue, Manhattan Beach, California 90266.
La ville de Manhattan Beach arbore une plage ravissante, de jolies petites boutiques, une charmante jetée et une grande variété de restaurants allant de bouis-bouis à de grands restos en passant par une nuée de gastropubs. Il y fait beau à l’année et on peut compter sur de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Pour les sportifs, il est aisé de louer vélos, planches à voile ou planches de surf tout près de l’océan.
Conference Hotel
The conference site, the Westdrift Manhattan Beach, is a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel that has recently undergone a complete and beautiful renovation. All conference sessions will take place at the Westdrift and attendees will be entitled to the preferential conference rate of $189 (+ tax) a night per room, a very attractive rate for this hotel and the desirable costal destination of Manhattan Beach. Please note that there are a limited number of rooms available at the conference rate and all rooms will be booked on a first-come basis.
The conference location is a convenient 15-minute drive from LAX (Los Angeles International) Airport. There is a 9-hole golf course on the hotel grounds and the hotel is under 1.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean and the city’s lovely beach (there is a walking/biking path from the hotel to the beach.)
Please note that, in order to book the special room rates for the NCFS 2018 conference you will need to link to the registration site via this link: Book your group rate for NCFS 2018 Colloquium . Do not book rooms through the hotel’s general website because you will not be able to access the reduced rate in that way.
Extended Dates: For those who wish to extend their stay we are pleased to note that the hotel has agreed to offer attendees the preferred conference room rate of $189 from Sunday, October 21, 2018 to Wednesday, October 31, 2018. As noted above, there are a limited number of rooms available at the conference rate and all rooms will be booked on a first-come basis.
The deadline to book hotel rooms at the preferential rate is September 23, 2018.

Hôtel officiel du Colloque NCFS 2018
Le site du colloque, le Westdrift Manhattan Beach, est un magnifique hôtel Marriott, Collection Autographe, qui vient d’être entièrement rénové. Toutes les sessions s’y tiendront et les membres de NCFS bénéficieront du taux très préférentiel de $189 (+taxes) par chambre, par nuit. Ce tarif est exceptionnel vu la popularité du site, si près de l’Océan Pacifique. Notez qu’il n’y a qu’un nombre limité de chambres à ce tarif avantageux et que les chambres seront assignées au fur et à mesure des réservations, premiers arrivés, premiers servis.
L’hôtel est situé à 15 minutes à peine en voiture de LAX, l’aéroport international de Los Angeles. Il y a un terrain de golf de 9 trous à l’hôtel qui est, en sus, situé à 2 km de l’océan Pacifique et de sa plage légendaire. (Notez qu’il y a un sentier pour se rendre à pied à la plage à partir de l’hôtel.)

EXTENSION DES DATES AU TAUX PRÉFÉRENTIEL:
Pour ceux et celles qui désirent arriver quelques jours avant le début du colloque, l’hôtel a accepté d’offrir à nos membres la possibilité de réserver des chambres au taux préférentiel de $189 à partir du dimanche 21 octobre (et allant jusqu’au mercredi 31 octobre, 2018.) Il n’y a cependant qu’un nombre limité de chambres disponibles et elles seront assignés par ordre de réservation, premiers arrivés, premiers servis.
La date limite de réservation des chambres au taux préférentiel est le 23 septembre 2018
